Power remains out to 2,327 Floyd County customers
With high wind gusts adding to a complicated weather situation Wednesday night, Appalachian Power Company crews are working around the clock to restore power to more than to 2,327 Floyd County customers still without electricity in Floyd County and some 4,300 still in the dark through0ut the service region in Virginia.
Floyd County’s 25.4 percent without power remained the company’s highest level level of outages at 10:30 p.m. and high wind warnings that remain in effect until 4 p.m. Thursday remain a threat to all users of electricity.
With warmer and temperatures and sunshine forecast for Thursday, things should improve.
