At 10:30 p.m. Friday, 622 customers in Floyd County remained without power.
That was also the total of power outages in all of Appalachian Power Company‘s entire service area in Virginia and West Virginia.
That’s right. Only the 622 customers in Floyd County were without power in Virginia or West Virginia.
APCO’s new estimate for having all Floyd County customers back online? About 2 p.m. Saturday.
We were out for 31 hours out here in the Willis area. I feel for those still in the dark. We still have ice on the trees out here and we’re hoping we don’t lose power again tonight.
