Good news from the rehab folks

010413dougGood news on the rehab front.  After followup visits with the trauma team, orthopedist and plastic surgeon Thursday, I’m considered ahead of the curve in rehab.

The surgeon who put my broken leg back together following last November’s motorcycle crash cleared me to drive (cars, not motorcycles).  I still have another month in the “walking cast,” but will move to a leg brace at the end of January.

The plastic surgeon found no problems in his major rebuilding of my face.  The trauma team announced no need for future appointments unless I report a problem.

Came home feeling good.  Then fell asleep for the night.

Doug, the Pope called and apparently you’ve still got some work to do…

Hooray several times over! I really feel like a wimp whining about my annual holiday cold. Hope to see you for a piece of pie at the Country Store as soon as I feel not-infectious (and not-sleepy-at-the-wheel).
