Powerless customers in Floyd County down to 2,515 after a peak at 4,449
Appalachian Power is reporting powerless customers in Floyd County is down to 2,515 after a jump to more than 4,400 earlier this afternoon.
Early this morning some 3,863 Floyd County electric customers were without power. By early afternoon, the number of powerless increased to 4,449 — 48.5 percent of the customer base in the county.
Statewide, the number of APCO customers without power dropped from more than 109,000 to 88,719.
