FCHS Lady Buffs post 61-37 win to take regional championship

022313bb2The Lady Buffs continued their winning ways Saturday night with a 61-37 win over Patrick Henry-Glade Spring in typical fashion: Fast paced action that wore the opponents down and controlled the game.

Floyd led by just three at the end of the first quarter, 14-11, and 29-21 at the half but broke the game open in the second half, pulling away to a conclusive win.

The Lady Buffs will start the state tournament next weekend in Salem.
