Try my chili…or else!

A biker named "Rabbit’ passes out samples of "HOG chili" at the annual Chili Cook-off on Salem Avenue in downtown Roanoke Saturday.

Rabbit is a member of the Roanoke Valley Harley Owners Group (RVHOG), Harley-Davidson riders who also cook up a mean chili (below) and most often win the annual charity event in the Star City.

Would you refuse a sample of chili from a biker wearing a pig nose? Apparently, no one did. The HOGs won First Place, People’s Choice, Best Booth and Best Presentation. In other words, they won it all.

    I seem to remember you wearing a vest with the RVHOG colors on the back. Were you out there with a pig nose pushing chili?
