Autumn moon
Yes, that was a beautiful moon hanging over Floyd County Thursday night. I lit up the sky over a football game at the high school and provided good viewing as I headed home following the game.

Great shot Doug Thompson of the ridgeline below the moon with the silhouette of the trees against the evening sky.
What type of camera and lense did you use for the shot along with the f stop setting and shutter speed? What time did you take the shot? The moon looks still low to the horizon which magnifies it’s image to the human eye.
Most moon shots lack reference; ie., people simply shooting the full moon, but fail to get trees or a mountain range to provide persepective.
I’ve been surveying your photographic work for some time now and I must say you do nice camera work. : )
