Yeah, we changed things again
Got a lot of complaints abount our redesign last month. People found it hard to read, not as user-friendly as the previous design.
Couldn’t go back to the old design so I went in and changed things again, hopefully keeping a new look but restoring some of the feel of the original design of Blue Ridge Muse.
Will people like it? Good question. I’ve found change often shakes people up.
A variation of the old light-bulb story goes:
Question: How many Floyd Countians does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: 501 — 1 to change the bulb and 500 to say how much they liked the old bulb better.
The blue was nice. Use orange if you want. I’ll still come read and look at your photography.
Better to have 500 people saying how nice the old design was than no one reading! I don’t know if it is because of some setting in my browser (Firefox) or what, but I do notice that the font size is considerably smaller than it used to be. That’s an observation, not a complaint. Hmmm … just noticed something: when I went to the “preview” step, the font size changed to quite a bit larger for perhaps one half second and then went back to the tiny font that appears on the compose screen. That leads me to believe that there may be an issue – maybe Firefox doesn’t get along with the coding in your new template? Hmmmmmm ……….
I did notice the font change also in Firefox, but the good ole CTRL + mousewheel made it nice and readable easily enough.

Line breaks are not happening with the formatting, to make a new paragraph you pretty much have to do a list format.
I put half a dozen lines between the sentences, see how it did?
I changed the formatting code.
Let’s see if it works.
Now if you can get the postings to display their subject lines and get rid of the underlining, they should be at least as readable as before.
