A dominating game against EastMont

A dominating game against EastMont

Busy day Thursday on the athletic fields of Floyd County High School with action on the tennis courts, softball field and baseball diamond.

At the baseball diamond, the varsity Buffaloes led 6-3 in the sixth inning and then piled on the runs later to win 14-3.

In a junior varsity softball game against Eastern Montgomery High School, the Lady Buffs jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the bottom of the first before the Mustangs got even the first out on the home team.  Had to leave before the end of the game but they appeared to be on their way to a lopsided victory.

Domination also appeared to be the name of the game on the tennis courts in a varsity girls’ tennis match against EastMont.

Lots more photos and stories in next week’s Floyd Press.
