The Floyd County High School Lady Buffaloes take the court at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center in Richmond shortly before noon Tuesday for yet another appearance in the Region 2A state championship final four and, with a victory, head to the final Wednesday.

Getting to the final means beating Clarke County’s Eagles, a tough 28-1 team from Berryville in Northern Virginia about 60 miles from Washington, DC.  The Lady Buffs lost to the Eagles in the state final in 2007.

A win by the Lady Buffs on Tuesday could provide a rematch against Wise Central to revenge a loss in the Region Final Friday night at Emory & Henry.

The game Tuesday is scheduled to start at 11:45 a.m. in Richmond.
