Floyd County High School’s Buffaloes led Wise Central for the first two quarters and seemed in control of the game but that lead was cut to a 50-50 tie at the end of the third quarter.

Central never ran away with the game and Floyd tied it close to the end but fell short 63-59.

It was a hard fought game.  Hannah Belshan and Emily Boothe fouled out late in the game.  Both sides experienced takeaways.

Early in the first quarter, Ragan Wiseman reached 1,000 points in her FCHS career and was honored.

At the press conference following the loss, assistant coach Travis Cantrell thanked the team and said he was proud of their performance through the season and their career.
