What Syrian refugees really face

People of Nowhere from Lior Sperandeo on Vimeo.

This video by Lior Sperandeo shows the horrific struggle and sad fates facing Syrian refugees who seek safety and sanctuary in other countries, including America.

Sadly, they face political extremists in all nations, especially in America where people forget that we are a nation of immigrants who settled in this land to escape persecution elsewhere.

Something to think about before we view refugees as potential terrorists rather than human beings in need.

  1. Very moving. Too bad there are so many who just turn away and ignore these people. Too busy running over each other in big box stores for “bargains” and/or ranting against fellow human beings. Wish I had the power to exchange the dolts here for children and their parents like those in the video.

  2. I keep seeing people posting that the Syrians are only coming here to get “free stuff”. But they don’t realize there are conditions. In order to get your free stuff, you have to watch your home destroyed, have your family threatened and murdered, and to risk your life fleeing thousands of miles from your home country.

What a bargain! Where do I sign up?
