Lots of action for March weekend

Busy the last few days shooting media:  More than 3,000 still images on Thursday’s girls’ tennis match against Galax and at the Joshua’s Hoops for Hope basketball game for about six hours Saturday: Both at Floyd County High School.

Friday brought filming of the Friday Night Jamboree, both on the street outside is slightly nippy weather and then inside where dancers crammed the dance floor for the weekly gathering of Old Time Music and Bluegrass fans.

Posted two videos of that evening and have a third in the works.

Then a busy Sunday working on long overdue needs around the house.  Loaded our riding lawnmower into the trailer to take it over to T&S for needed work and get it ready to tackle a yard that already needs mowing in this year.

Springlike weather for this week before March finishes its run with thunderstorms and April arrives with with overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 30s and traditional showers  and highs in the 50s and 60s.

Enjoy the Springlike weather.  It will be plenty hot soon enough.

More photos of the alumni game and the ladies’ tennis match in this week’s Floyd Press.
