A busy, busy and yes busy weekend, complete with antique tractors, rubber ducks on the Little River, auto fairs and more.

As usual, the fun and games start on the streets of Floyd on Friday night with music along South Locust, weather permitting, artists on display and, of course, The Friday Night Jamboree.

The Floyd Auto Fair kicks off on Friday at Chantilly Farm with hot cars, swap meets and good foot from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Floyd Artisans display their wares in the Community Market Pavilion at  205 S. Locust St. from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

The Grateful Bread Bakery hosts “Songs Fill a Summer Night” at 109 Old Hensley Road from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Friday Night Jamboree at 205 S. Locust St. kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with Josh x 2, followed by the Lone Ivy String Band at 7:30 p.m. and Sophie and the Boys at 9.

Dogtown Roadhouse features New Car Caviar: A Jamgrass Tribute to Pink Floyd at 8 p.m. at 302 S. Locust St.

Saturday, August 20

Floyd Farmers Market provides food and more at the Community Pavilion at 205 S. Market Street from 9  a.m. to 1 p.m.

Floyd Countians Roger and Nancy Mannon started the Virginia Comics and Collectibles Antique Show 19 years ago and the latest show opens at 10 a.m. a the Salem Civic Center.

The 10th Annual Floyd Country Tractor Fun Run begins at 992 Christiansburg Pike at 10 a.m.

The 2nd Annual Floyd Chamber Rubber Duck Race kicks off at 11 a.m. at One the Water, 2053 Thunderstruck Road and runs through 3 p.m.

Americana Afternoon at The Floyd Country Store at 206 S. Locust St. begins at noon with RYZ, followed by Scott Patrick & Friends at 1:30 pm. and Hoot and Holler at 2:30.

Paws Cause, a benefit for the Humane Society, starts at 5 p.m. at Floyd Eco Village, 718 Franklin Pike Rd. SE.

Wildwood Farms General Store features The Marshall Brothers from 7 – 9 p.m. at 2380 Floyd Hwy. S.

Dogtown Roadhouse has Chasin’ Crazy from 8 – 11 p.m. at 302 S. Locust St.

Sunday, August 21

Shape Note Singing at The Floyd Country Store, 206 S. Locust St. from noon to 1:20 p.m.

Cruise in at Wildwood Farms, 2380 Floyd Hwy S. from 1-5 p.m.

Sunday Sounds at Chateau Morrisette Winery, 287 Winery Road, from 1-5 p.m.

Sunday Music Jam at The Floyd Country Store, 206 S. Locust St. 1:30 – 6 p.m.

Music Jam at Wildwood Farms General Store, 2380 Floyd Hwy S. at 2-4 p.m.

Open Mic Night at Dogtown Roadhouse, 302 S. Locust St. 6-10 p.m.
