Action at the JV Volleyball match against Carroll County

The 2016 Volleyball season for Floyd County High School kicked off Tuesday evening a home with middle schoolers dispatching Carroll County with strong victories in two matches.

Junior Varsity lost the first match and was losing in the second when I had to leave to cover the meeting of the county Board of Supervisors. Wasn’t able to catch the varsity game but will get them on Tuesday of next week in a match against Christiansburg.

Varsity football kicks off Friday night with a road opener against Carroll County in Hillsville at 7 p.m. Patrick County plays the Buffaloes next Friday in Floyd.
