Middle school basketball kicks off at Floyd County High School’s old gym on Wednesday and the boys and girls varsity and JV teams head for George Wythe High School next weekend for a jamboree event.
Girls varsity basketballers are scheduled to meet Lord Botetourt in the Floyd County High School gym on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and the boys JV and Varsity teams meet Auburn in their gym on Wednesday.
Ten days to go before Thanksgiving, followed by the debacle called “Black Friday” and the even bigger chaos called the Christmas season.
