Some snowfalls bring beauty to the landscape. Others just add clutter. Sunday night’s skiff brought only nuisance value to the mountains of Floyd County.
After a weekend of head games from Mother Nature, we start the new week with another March guessing game. Today, we must endure a forecast of light snow mixed with sleet and freezing rain. The high temperature is supposed to climb to 42 today but with cold, wet conditions, it won’t feel much like it.
More rain Tuesday night with a forecast of snow on Wednesday and Thursday. Looks the the temps won’t reach the 50s until the weekend (possibly) or beyond.
March came in like a lion. It may leave the same way.
