Floyd County High School’s varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams kicked off the season at home Tuesday night with a win and a loss.

The JV girls (above) won a hard-fought series over arch-rival Christiansburg 2-1 but the varsity (below) fell 3-0 to the Blue Demons.
