As I recall, we moved to the mountains to relax, to take life easy, to get away from the hectic pace of big city life.

So why do I get up each day with too many things on the schedule and too little time to get to most of them?

Wanted to shoot video of Scott Perry’s CD party this weekend. Didn’t get to it. Wanted to see a movie at the new all-digital, all-stadium-seating 14-screen Regal Cinema multiplex in Christiansburg. Not enough time. Needed to edit a video. Still on the todo list.

Back when I "worked for a living," a Franklin Planner kept my life on schedule (along with an assistant who took care of the many details). Maybe it’s time to buy a new one (planner, not assistant).
