Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives to Me: Junk DNA style

Arthur Swanstone, Charles McCarvon and Carey Morgan originally composed “Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives To Me” as a big-band song in 1919 but over the years the song became a favorite of jug bands and traditional music groups, including the Greenbriar Boys who featured the tune on their 1964 album “Ragged But Right.”

The tune here gets a spirited workout from Junk DNA, a Blacksburg trio, at last Saturday’s Floyd Radio Show.
