Floyd County High School’s boys varsity basketball team dispatched Giles County 75-40 Tuesday night in the first round of the Three Rivers District Tournament.

The win was sweet revenge against Giles, which knocked the Buffaloes out of the first round of the district tournament last year.

The boys play in the semi-finals tonight at Eastern Montgomery High School at 7:45 p.m.

The Lady Buffs has a bye in the first round and face Auburn Thursday night in a semi-final game at 6 p.m. at Eastern Montgomery.

Finals for both boys and girls is Friday but times and location are still pending.
