No longer a one-stoplight county

Floyd is no-longer a one-stoplight county. Now we have two (at least temporarily).

Stoplights are in place on U.S. 221 just north of town as a contract crew for the Virginia Department of Transportation redecks the Pine Creek Bridge.  Traffic is down to one-lane 24-hours a day.

A top: Don't hesitate when the light turns green. It's a short light (but you do have 30 seconds after the light turns red to clear the bridge before traffic coming in the other direction gets the green).
