Will It Ever End?

SnowRain threatens the Daytona 500 today and snow again heads toward Southwestern Virginia.

If the National Weather Service is right (and that is a big "if"), the brunt of the storm will stay West and North, leaving us with a few inches.

Rough winter, not only here but in much of the country.

I've been though ice storms in Illinois, blizzards in Iowa, sub-zero temperatures in New Hampshire and more than enough snow and ice here in Floyd County.

With March just two weeks away, we can hope the end of this winter madness is near. But that damn groundhog in in Pennsylvania predicted six more weeks of winter on February 2 and he turns out to be right more than the guys with all their fancy doppler radar, so maybe the end is not near.
