The on-again, off-again construction of  First National Bank of Christiansburg's new Floyd branch appears to be on again.

For a while it looked like construction would be on hold because of Virginia Financial Group's take over of FNB to create a new state chartered bank holding company.

Now it seems to be back on with construction slated to begin by mid-September.

We'll check in September to see if there is any activity on the construction site.
