At least vote. Today is election day in our area and throughout Virginia for local and state offices.

Here in Floyd County we have hotly contest races for Commonwealth's Attorney and two of five seats on the Board of Supervisors.

Some say this election is a test to see if Floyd County's Republican machine still exists. The county's demographics are changing and today may well show how much.

Whatever your leanings it is important that you vote. We will post the results tonight as soon as they come in.
