Actually, two newly-elected supervisors at their first monthly meeting of the Floyd County board.

Bill Gardner (center in above photo) and Virgel Allen (left in photo at right) got their trial by fire, so to speak, Tuesday at the January meeting of the board.

As meetings go, Tuesday's gathering was uneventful: Mostly appointments and reports followed by the closed-door "executive sessions" that have become routine in Floyd County government.
