An all-too-familiar sight as Giles steamrolls its way through for more yardage.

The license plate of the truck that ran down Floyd County High School’s Buffaloes Friday night at FCHS read “Spartans” as Giles County routed the Buffs 63-12.

Giles jumped to  21-0 lead, led 42-6 at the half and added 21 more points in the second with the Spartan’s Ian Mann scoring six touchdowns.

Dorian Harris added one bright spot for the Buffaloes with 123 rushing yards and a touchdown but the night belonged to Giles.

More photos and Roger Mannon’s story in next week’s Floyd Press.

Not much to cheer about on a chilly October night.
