Back in the old days, politicians running for office didn’t pay much attention to Floyd.  Now, it’s a mandatory stop.  People like Tim Kaine, former governor and Virginia’s new U.S. Senator, use the stage of the Friday Night Jamboree to display some musical prowess and seek votes.

And let’s not forget that Vice President Joe Biden stopped by unannounced during last year’s Presidential campaign.
