Good friend Julius Dickerson spent a lot of hours working on our driveway last week and his efforts were put to the test when hard rains arrived just a few hours later.

The driveway held up and we have no doubt it will again when more rain comes this week.

In a place where the word “drought” is used so often, it has been — to date — a very wet year and, if the forecasts are accurate, it will continue to be.
