APCo missed another deadline Monday night as a promise to restore power to all Virginia electric customers fell short. Residents of Franklin, Pulaski and Washington counties in Virginia woke up in the dark Tuesday morning.
At least 256 Pulaski customers remained powerless at 8:30 a.m. today along with 201 in Washington County and another 168 in nearby Franklin County. Power company officials refused to say is the outages were left over from last week’s storm or new problems from rain that struck some areas Monday night.
Thanks to the hard-working crews who are toiling around the clock to restore power. It’s just too bad that the company they work for keep changing its stories and excuses for a continuing glut of outages that strike the area.
