Rock Point overlook at Mile Marker 10.4 on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Photo shot last summer during one of what was then frequent trips up and down the the scenic driver on my Harley.  Such rides seem so long ago since the incident last fall when I had to lay the bike down to try and avoid a black cow on U.S. 221 between Cave Spring and the start up Bent Mountain.

Because of lingering problems from that crash I still have not been cleared to ride again so visits to the Parkway have been rare this summer.
