Floyd County High School’s varsity football team is off to a 0-2 start after a 35-15 loss to Galax Friday night at an away game.

Galax scored on a kickoff runback of 73 yards and a 56-yard interception return.

Tristan Vest of the Buffaloes continued to pile up good running yard with 767 yards on 21 carries and an 88-year return of a kickoff for a touchdown.
