The weather forecast has a familiar and monotonous tone to it: Rain, occasional rain, thunderstorms, violent thunderstorms, rain, more rain, fog, etc.

This has been a wet Spring. After too many dry years, we need the rain but our yard could produce a good crop of hay — assuming it ever gets dry enough to mow — and our driveway has ruts that could qualify as canyons in some states.

Add a tornado in Indian Valley, frequent and sometimes violent thunderstorms and we wonder just who pissed off Mother Nature.

While today’s outlook is more fog than rain, the forecast for the rest of the week is as wet as a political campaign promise.
