Author, activist and farmer Wendell Berry came to Floyd Friday for an autograph session, some Healing Harvest Foundation activity, some sustainability and a panel discussion that brought an overflow crowd to the Floyd County High School auditorium.

The line stretched out of the main hall at the Eco-Center Friday afternoon as the crowd waiting to get their books signed and an even-larger gathering left standing room only at the high school auditorium as Berry and others discussed sustainable agriculture and the need to preserve forests and land.
