Cold, wet weather accompanied by fog moved into Southwestern Virginia this week, giving us scenes like a fog-shrouded U.S. 221 north of Floyd (above) or the Blue Ridge Parkway near Rocky Knob (right).
The moisture is expected to stick around through Saturday and might even bring fog to Friday’s home football game at Floyd County High School.
Some areas of the region may get snow before the weekend is over.
That’s right. Snow.
And winter is officially still two months away.
