
Floyd County High School’s varsity boys basketball team extended its season-opening record to 4-0 with a win for the second time over Christainsburg 78-74 and Caleb Tanner continued to pile up impressive point totals with 44.
Justin Conduff added 14 points, including four three-point goals and Preston Neukirch had nine.
Tanner’s 44 points gives him 189 points for the first four games — an average of 47.25 points a game.
The Buffaloes face the Bland County Bears at home on Dec. 19 before heading into the Ft. Chiswell Holiday Tournament.

I believe the guys host Carlisle for a benefit game on the 18th.
