Another winning night for both the boys and girls basketball teams from Floyd County High School.

Caleb Tanner poured in 52 points as the Buffaloes trounced Bland County 97-28 in front of a home crowd in a non-district game.  Preston Neukirch finished the night with 14 points, 10 assists, seven steals and five rebounds.  Blake Hairston had 12.

In Bristol, the Lady Buffs outscored the Happy Valley, Tenn., Warriors 88-73 in the Doc Maples Holiday Hoops Invitational.

Hannah Belshan put 20 points through the hoop, Carley Lytton added 14, with five assists, Amanda Hollandsworth put in 12 and both Amiee Royal and Christine Phillips had 10 points each.

The Lady Buffs face Tennessee High in the semifinals.  Both the boys and girls teams are 5-0.
