The State Champion Lady Buffaloes of Floyd County High School extended their winning record to 6-0 Friday night with a 86-64 win over Tennessee High at the Doc Maples Holiday Hoops Invitational holiday tournament in Bristol.

Ragan Wiseman scored 18 points in a hard-fought game where referees called 61 fouls on both teams.

The Lady Buffs trailed 16-15 at the end of the first quarter but took the lead at the half, held off a challenge by the Lady Vikings in the third quarter and then pulled away in the fourth.

Wiseman, a sophomore, scored all of her points in the game’s final 16 minutes.

Four Tennessee players fouled out in the game.  Floyd goes for the tournament championship Saturday night.
