In a tough game that was, at times, closer than the final score, the Lady Buffaloes downed the Salem Spartans 68-37 at home Monday night.

The Spartans played a hard, full-court press throughout the night, trailing Floyd 30-14 at the half and 42 to 28 at the end of the third quarter but the Lady Buffs pulled away in the final quarter, outscoring Salem26-9 and bringing their record to 8-0 in the season.
