Five years ago today, Amy and I signed on the dotted line and bought what we fully expect to be the last home we ever own — our current residence in Floyd County. Five days earlier, we closed on the sale of our condo in Arlington County — our domicile for the previous 23 years.

It’s been an interesting five years. May the next five be even more so.
