FCHS girls win, boys lose in basketball action

A win and a loss for Floyd County High School’s girls and boys varsity basketball teams against Pulaski County Saturday night in Dublin.

The Lady Buffaloes pushed their record to 11-0 with an 85-55 win over the Cougars with Ragan Wiseman and Amanda Hollandsworth scoring 13 points each while Carley Litton and Hannah Belshan added 12 points each and Christine Phillips scored 10.

JV girls won as well.

The boys, however, fell 70-57, even with a 37-point performance from high-scoring Caleb Tanner.  JV boys lost as well.

The loss leaves the Buffaloes with a 9-1 record.
