
Floyd County High School’s Lady rolled over Giles County 85-23 at home Friday night, bringing their season record to 13-0.
Three players scored in double-digits: Christine Phillps led with 18, Regan Wiseman had 16 and Hannah Belshan 10.
The Lady Spartans were never a factor in the game as the Lady Buffs lead 36 to 2 in the first quarter and 55-6 at the half.
Coaches Alan and Travis Cantrell rotated the benches in through most of the game and pulled the full-court press from the game after the first half but the Lady Buffs continued to outpace the Lady Spartans, outscoring them 16-8 in the third quarter and 14-8 in the fourth.
Belshan had two three-point goals while Phillips, Natalie Boothe Emily Boothe contributed one each.
The Lady Buffs also lead the district 4-0.
The JV team also beat Giles 68-10.
