With temperatures in the mid 20s by early afternoon in most of Floyd County Saturday and and little chance of reaching the projected high of 29 to 30 degrees, many in the area are bundled up and looking forward to warmer temperatures in the 40s on Sunday and 50 on Monday.
Enjoy it because another arctic blast arrives Tuesday, along with snow that could be a couple of inches.
Only a coating of snow fell on most of the county Friday night and chances of flurries exist for Saturday night and early Sunday but the primary focus of the forecast after Monday is cold and colder.
