‘House of Good & Evil’

House of Good & Evil, the suspense film shot in Floyd County in 2012, is scheduled to screen at The Grandin Theater in Roanoke on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The screening is a one-time showing of the film that has been playing on pay-per-view movie channels since last fall but is still hoping for a theatrical run.

Writer-producer Blu de Golyer and members of the cast, including local actor Rob Neukirch, will host a question and answer session as part of the showing.

Tickets are $7.75 for students, military and seniors and $9.75 for general admission and the showing is sponsored by the Grandin Theater Foundation.

The film was screened in Floyd last year at Chantilly Farms:

  1. Thank you Doug as always for your updates with the film and we are excited to finally showcase the finished version of the film. Here’s a bit of a schedule as we’re hearing it from our distributors: April 1st DVD and extensive VOD release (this includes Oversees). July 1st Redbox release. Finally, this fall we will be running a theatrical run with a major chain under Shooting Creek Films, who has retained theatrical rights. We’re looking at screening at 30 cinemas nationwide. We are also very excited to hear all that’s been happening with Geographically Desirable and hope to be in attendance when it screens in Floyd, the most film friendly community a filmmaker can hope to shoot a film in.
