Floyd County High School’s Eighth Grade track team hosted a multi-school event Thursday and gave both fans and coaches a look at future stars for the varsity team in the coming years.

Temperatures cooled a little as clouds came in late and covered the sun but a number of performances stood out.

Track is also a fun sports for photographers.
