Track action at Eastern Montgomery High School Wednesday afternoon as Floyd County’s varsity competed against EastMont, Giles and Narrows.
Keeping track of all the action is often a challenge with high jump, triple jump, shot put and discus action on another part of the athletic complex — and away from the running and hurdle events.
While the greatest challenge comes for the young athletes competing against each other, it can also task a 66-year-old photographer trying to get from one event to the other on a reconstructed leg to make sure he catches each of the talented athletes in action.
For us older photographers, it’s often a hit or miss situation.
