Had to happen. After a harsh winter of cold and snow, Spring and hints of summer have finally arrived and a second straight day of hot weather with temperatures above 90 brought out complaints of “it’s too hot.”
Comments on Facebook reveal some dissatisfaction already with a seasonal shift that now appears to be heading quickly into summer-like heat with only a light pause for Spring-like weather.
On Wednesday, however, the high is expected to be “only” about 80 degrees and an expected onslaught of thunderstorms moving into the area Wednesday night have already brought a flood watch for the area that starts at midnight and extends into 6 a.m. on Friday.
And the weather cools with highs in the mid 60s expected Thursday through next Monday before the thermometer climbs back into the 70s next week.
Now that’s more like Spring.
