An overflow crowd crammed into the meeting room of the Floyd County Board of Supervisors Tuesday night to express concern and opposition to the proposed natural gas pipeline that would run from West Virginia to Chatham and through the middle of Floyd County.
That concern appeared to be shared by the Supervisors who have not been formally notified of the planned pipeline. Board Chairman Case Clinger told the crowd that the board will watch the situation carefully and take action when the time is right.
