At Auburn High School Thursday night, the Varsity and JV Buffaloes disposed of the Eagles.

The Varsity Buffs won 55-53, taking an early game lead that the Auburn narrowed to five points at the half but Floyd kept the pressure after the break.

Cole Harris led scoring with 15 points, followed closely by Justin Conduff with 14.  Will Cook had 10.

Floyd County scored six three point goals with Harris leading with three.

The JV Buffaloes won 59-44.

In Pearisburg, the Lady Buffs cruised to a 71-25 thumping of Giles County.  The male Buffs meet Giles Friday night at home.
