The white Nissan pickup came flying around a blind curve on Buffalo Mountain Road Tuesday night, forcing me to steer the Liberty to the far edge of the road and too damn close to a sharp dropoff.

Gravel pounded the side of the Liberty as the pickup sped past, missing by inches.

Narrow roads like Virginia Route 758 are no place for dumbshit drivers who fly around blind bends. Fortunately, it was night and I saw his lights before entering the curve. Had it been daytime, I probably could not have reacted in time.

This isn’t the first run-in with the white pickup. My mother has been run off the road by this lead-footed idiot more than once. So have others who live on or around Buffalo Mountain Road.

He’s about to get a first-hand education on the dangers of road rage.
